Destiny and Fortune is the twentieth episode of The Tudors and the tenth and final episode of Season Two.  The titular phrase is spoken by Sir John Seymour when his daughter Jane becomes engaged to King Henry during the episode, referring to Henry's kiss on Jane as "her destiny and her fortune".  This happy news, however, is overshadowed by the grim execution of Henry's previous Queen, Anne Boleyn, for falsified charges of adultery; Anne's final days of imprisonment, as well as her bravery at the scaffold, are the driving force of the episode.

"Destiny and Fortune" marks the last appearances of Lord Thomas Boleyn, John SeymourThomas Cranmer, Thomas Wyatt, and Anne Boleyn (although Anne appears again in the series finale, as a ghost).  This is the last time Anita Briem portrays Jane Seymour
